ID Tech Solutions Pvt Ltd in Gurugram, India seeks a Senior Embedded Systems Engineer with hands-on firmware development and hardware integration skills. You will design and implement MCU-based embedded systems, develop drivers and RTOS applications, and collaborate with hardware teams to ensure robust, secure firmware and hardware bring-up.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
• 8–10 years of experience in embedded systems design and development.
• Experience with RTOS (e.g., FreeRTOS, Zephyr) and bare-metal environments.
• Proficiency with communication protocols: I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, USB, Modbus.
• Hands-on debugging of schematic-level hardware.
• Familiarity with MCU families like STM32, NXP Kinetsis, TIMSP430, ESP32.
• Experience with tools such as Keil, IAR, Eclipse, Altium Designer, Oscilloscope, Multimeter, JTAG/SWD.
• Strong debugging, analytical, problem-solving skills; cross-team collaboration.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to project design decisions.
• Agile and adaptable mindset for rapid prototyping and iteration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware using Embedded C/C++ for microcontrollers.
• Develop and integrate device drivers, communication stacks, RTOS-based and bare-metal apps.
• Optimize code for performance, power, and memory footprint.
• Perform unit testing, code reviews, and ensure MISRA-C compliance.
• Implement bootloaders, BSPs, and secure firmware update mechanisms.
• Collaborate with hardware engineering to define system architecture and interfaces.
• Bring up new hardware boards and perform hardware testing and validation.
• Document hardware interfaces, configurations, and BOM evaluations.
