Job summary

Randstad in Chennai is looking for a Firewall Engineer / Network Security Engineer with 3-5 years of experience to join the client’s firewall team. You will work on rule implementations and consult on Checkpoint technology in a large enterprise setting.

The role offers flexible hours and a first shift in India, with two virtual interviews planned with the manager and team.

Strong emphasis on Checkpoint R80/R81 experience, firewall implementation, and routing skills is required.

Qualifications

MUST HAVE:

Recent Checkpoint R80 or R81 experience/high skills and worked at a large enterprise environment writing Firewall rules.

Need Firewall Implementation experience

Troubleshooting skills, network skills routing, trace routes, write rule modifications experience

NICE TO HAVES:

Experience with Checkpoint end-of-life replacement or checkpoint implementation of virtual and physical environments.

INTERVIEW

2 virtual interviews with the manager and then the team.

We need a technical and experienced firewall expert to join our clients Firewall team. We seek an experienced Firewall analyst who can perform rule implementations, consulting, and support with Checkpoint experience. Broadcom Proxy experience would also be a plus.
