You will deploy, manage, and upgrade firewall platforms across hardware and cloud environments, perform migrations, and ensure compliance with security standards. Strong routing, Linux CLI, and scripting (Python, Ansible, Terraform) skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of hands-on firewall experience.
• Experience deploying from scratch and version upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, upgrade, and maintain Checkpoint, Fortinet, and Palo Alto firewalls.
• Deploy and manage firewalls in hardware appliances and cloud environments.
• Perform firewall migrations and rule-base implementations per security standards.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues and firewall incidents.
• Monitor network traffic for anomalies and threats.
• Manage VPNs and security policies.
• Conduct risk assessments and participate in security audits.

Note: Experience in firewall implementation, upgrade, and building from scratch is mandatory

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement, configure, upgrade, and maintain Checkpoint, Fortinet, and Palo Alto firewalls
• Deploy and manage firewalls in both hardware appliances and virtualized/cloud environments
• Perform firewall migrations, rule base implementation, and ensure adherence to security standards
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues and firewall‑related incidents
• Monitor and analyze network traffic for anomalies or potential threats
• Manage VPNs and security policies
• Conduct risk assessments and participate in internal security audits
• Collaborate on cloud integration and infrastructure security design

Required Skills:

• 6–10 years of hands‑on experience in firewall platforms (Checkpoint, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cloud Firewalls)
• Expertise in firewall deployment from scratch and version upgrades
• Strong understanding of enterprise security, advanced networking (Routing, Switching, Load Balancers), and cloud environments
• Practical knowledge of BGP / OSPF routing protocols
• Proficiency with Linux OS and command‑line tools
• Familiarity with scripting tools (Python, Ansible, Terraform) and automation practices
