Role Description

The Fire Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Aligarh, focused on the installation, testing, maintenance, and repair of fire safety and related systems. Daily responsibilities include installing and configuring fire alarm panels, detectors, and associated wiring, and supporting fire suppression and life safety systems as needed. The role involves performing routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and functional testing of equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements. The Fire Technician will diagnose issues, troubleshoot system faults, replace components, and document all work performed in service reports. Collaboration with supervisors, clients, and other technicians is required to plan work, respond to service calls, and ensure safe and efficient operation of all assigned systems.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of fire safety and life safety principles, including Fire Safety and Life Safety practices.
• Hands-on experience with Fire Extinguishers and Fire Suppression Systems, including installation, inspection, and maintenance.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues using effective Troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with fire alarm panels, detectors, and related electrical/electronic components.
• Relevant technical diploma or certification in electrical, electronics, or fire protection technology is preferred.
• Ability to read technical drawings and follow safety codes and industry standards.
• Attention to detail, safe work practices, and the ability to work both independently and in a team on-site.
• Prior field experience in fire alarm or safety systems service is an advantage.
