Job summary

WorkHub Enterprise seeks an experienced Fire Sprinkler System Designer to prepare detailed drawings and support project coordination. The role requires hands-on use of AutoSPRINK, HydraCAD, or SprinkCAD and the ability to work independently with minimal training.

Responsibilities include designing, coordinating with trades, and reviewing hydraulic calculations, while ensuring compliance with current codes and standards. Strong English communication and organization are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of fire sprinkler design experience.
• Hands-on experience with AutoSPRINK, HydraCAD or SprinkCAD.
• Solid understanding of hydraulic calculations.
• Knowledge of current fire sprinkler codes and standards.
• Ability to work independently with limited training.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Create fabrication and stock listing documentation.
• Coordinate piping locations with other trades.
• Attend project meetings as required.
• Support field personnel with design-related installation issues.
• Help resolve design-related operating deficiencies.
• Assist with estimating, proposal preparation, and equipment/parts ordering.
• Maintain organized project documentation and clear communication with teams.

This is a senior hands-on design role. Candidates must have experience using AutoSPRINK, HydraCAD, or SprinkCAD. Experience with other drafting or sprinkler design tools alone will not be enough, as this role requires minimal training and the ability to work independently.

• Experience coordinating directly with field crews, contractors, engineers, or other trades

• Experience working on U.S.-based fire sprinkler design projects

Important Note

Candidates who only have general CAD, Revit, BIM, or other non-specialized drafting software experience will not be a fit unless they also have hands-on experience with AutoSPRINK, HydraCAD, or SprinkCAD.
