The candidate must have a Diploma/TRADE with PDIS and at least 5+ years of relevant experience, ensuring adherence to safety standards and proactive emergency preparedness. This position demands rigorous safety discipline and effective staff training.

Qualifications

• Diploma or trade certification with fire safety qualification (PDIS).
• 5+ years of fire safety experience.
• Strong knowledge of fire safety laws and standards.
• Ability to conduct risk assessments and audits.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain fire safety policies and procedures
• Conduct regular fire risk assessments and safety audits
• Ensure compliance with fire safety laws, codes, and standards
• Coordinate installation, inspection, and maintenance of fire protection systems (alarms, sprinklers, extinguishers)
• Organize fire drills and emergency evacuation exercises
• Train employees and staff on fire safety awareness and emergency response
• Investigate fire incidents and prepare detailed reports
• Liaise with local fire departments and regulatory authorities
• Maintain records of inspections, incidents, and compliance documentation
• Monitor building occupancy and ensure proper emergency exits and signage
