Job summary

Mahindra And Mahindra Limited in Nagpur requires a seasoned Manager - Fire to lead maintenance and testing of fixed fire safety systems and oversee first aid equipment. The role includes conducting trainings for plant and contract staff, developing training modules, and coordinating contingency plans and drills.

Core responsibilities include issuing hot work permits, active participation in on-site and off-site emergencies, and close coordination with Safety and Security teams.

Qualifications

• BSc/BE Fire Engineering or Diploma/Certificate in Fire & Safety is required.
• NFSC Sub Officer or Station Officer certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct monthly/monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and yearly maintenance and testing of fixed fire fighting installations and first aid equipment.
• Conduct fire fighting trainings and live demonstrations for plant and contract employees.
• Prepare training modules for employees and contract employees.
• Prepare contingency plans for shop-wise emergencies.
• Conduct monthly mock drills in coordination with the Safety Department and participate actively.
• Issue hot work permits and ensure fire safety inside plant premises.
• Participate actively during on-site and off-site emergencies.
• Coordinate with Security Department.
• Coordinate with Safety Department.

• Conducting fire fighting trainings, live demonstration for plant employees & contract employees .
• To prepare training module for employees and contract employees

• To issue Hot work permits and ensure the fire safety is maintained inside the plant premises
• To take active part during onsite emergency and offsite emergency.
• To co-ordinate with security department.

Experience 10-12 years of work experience in Fire Department Industry Preferred Large size Manufacturing company

Qualifications The applicant should be BSc-Fire / BE- Fire Engineering, Diploma/Certificate in Fire & Safety, should have completed sub officer or station officer course from NFSC.
