Job summary

Elofic is seeking a Safety Officer to manage fire prevention, emergency drills, and compliance across its manufacturing operations. The role covers incident investigations, training, and documentation to uphold safety standards.

Location is head office oriented; requires 3–8 years of experience in process industry safety, with qualifications in engineering/science and fire & industrial safety.

Qualifications

• Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science (preferred).
• Technical Qualification: Diploma/Degree in Fire & Industrial Safety or Occupational Safety.
• Grade: Officer to Executive.
• Experience: 3–8 years in manufacturing / process industry handling fire & safety operations.

Responsibilities

• Fire Prevention: ensure system operability, conduct monthly inspections, maintain zero major fire incidents.
• Emergency Preparedness: conduct drills (6 per year), obtain ERT certification, improve response time.
• Risk & Compliance: perform FRA annually, close actions timely, ensure zero audit non-compliances.
• Safety Inspections: run weekly inspections and close unsafe conditions promptly.
• Training & Awareness: train employees and contractors, deliver safety training.
• Incident Management: investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, implement corrective actions.
• Statutory Compliance: ensure timely renewals of fire NOC/licenses and audit compliance.
• Documentation & Reporting: maintain updated safety records and monthly reports.
