Job summary

Thoughts2Binary is seeking a Business Analyst FinTech/Technology to liaison between clients and development teams. You will capture requirements, create BRDs/HLDs/ERDs, and translate business needs into effective features.

The role involves hybrid work with exposure to FinTech projects across locations in India. The ideal candidate has 6 months to 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst, a CS/Engineering degree, and preferably an MBA.

• Experience composing BRDs, HLDs, FRDs, wireframes, and scoping documents.
• Excellent communication with clients and teams to ensure clarity.

Responsibilities

• Capture and document business requirements into BRD/FRD/SCOPING and wireframes.
• Create BRDs, HLDs, ERDs for system development.
• Collaborate with architects, tech leads, developers and clients for smooth delivery.
• Translate business needs into system features and solutions.
• Track progress with the project team and report issues to PM/Architect.
• Assist in pre-UAT testing and client training.
• Ensure timely, quality delivery with stakeholders.
• Support UAT and handover to clients.
• Understand business processes to design fintech tech solutions.
• Work on FinTech and related technology-driven projects.

Position: Business Analyst FinTech / Technology

Experience: 6 months to 4 years (minimum of 6 months as a Business Analyst)

Work Model: Hybrid

Location: Open to all locations

Qualification: Bachelor of Engineering/Technology (Computer Science) or equivalent. A Masters in Business Administration is an added advantage.

What You’ll Do

• Capture and document business requirements and convert them into system development specifications (BRD, FRD, Scoping, Wireframing).
• Compose Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), High-Level Designs (HLDs), and Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs).
• Collaborate closely with architects, tech leads, developers, and clients to ensure smooth project execution and delivery.
• Assist in client discussions, understand their business needs, and translate them into effective system features and solutions.
• Work closely with clients and technical teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and no scope creep occurs from requirement gathering through delivery.
• Work with the technical project team to track functional progress and escape issues to the Program Manager or Architect as needed.
• Conduct pre-UAT testing, internal progress reviews, and assist in client training.
• Ensure timely and quality delivery of projects by working closely with developers, architects, and other stakeholders.
• Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and provide client support during the handover process.
• Understand business processes and contribute to designing technology solutions that solve real-world business problems.
• Work on projects related to FinTech and other technology-driven business solutions.

Preferred Skills

• Experience or exposure to the FinTech / Financial Services domain is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Exposure to project management tools such as JIRA and other planning tools.
• Experience working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Understanding of financial products, payment systems, banking processes, or related technology solutions will be an added advantage.

Key Notes

• This position is focused on Business Analysis, Functional Requirements, and Technology Solutions and is NOT for Data Analytics.
• FinTech domain experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• The role may require occasional overlap with US working hours.
• This is a hybrid working opportunity and is open to candidates across locations in India.
