Job summary

Sealed Air in Mumbai seeks a Financial Systems Analyst to administer the OneStream platform, support monthly close cycles, ensure data accuracy, and manage data integrations within OneStream.

You will develop business rules in Visual Basic, build dashboards and reports, participate in upgrades, maintain documentation, and train end-users on OneStream functionality and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of OneStream administration experience and 6 years in IT.
• Strong understanding of financial consolidation, budgeting, and reporting processes.
• Experience with Visual Basic and SQL coding; data integration/ETL familiarity.

Job Description

• Reporting into Global Controllership, the Financial Systems Analyst work at the intersection of Finance and IT and is responsible for administering the OneStream system to ensure optimal performance, supporting financial reporting and consolidation processes, implementing enhancements, and serving as the primary contact for all OneStream-related matters
• Administer and maintain the OneStream platform, including user access, security roles, and system configurations.
• Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes by ensuring data accuracy, consolidation process, and timely reporting.
• Manage data integrations between OneStream such as trial balances, FX Rates, and within OneStream.
• Perform system troubleshooting and issue resolution.
• Develop and maintain business rules (Visual Basic), dashboards, reports, and cube views within OneStream for operational and financial needs.
• Support system upgrades, and enhancements, including testing and validation.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy through routine data validation and reconciliation.
• Create and maintain documentation for system processes, configurations, and user guides.
• Perform monthly updates and maintenance of the Account Reconciliation module.
• Evaluate and recommend new approaches and procedures.
• Evaluate and maintain effective internal controls over the financial reporting process.
• Support continuous improvement activities.
• Train and support end-users on OneStream functionality and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience with OneStream administration or similar EPM/CPM tools (e.g., Hyperion, Cognos) and 6 years in IT.
• Strong understanding of financial consolidation, budgeting, and reporting processes.
• Understanding of accounting and financial reporting such as profit and loss, balance sheet statements, accounting metrics.
• Experience in Visual Basic, and SQL coding.
• Experience with data integrations and ETL processes.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Able to multi-task under pressure.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective, and clear written and verbal communication skills.
