Job summary

Apex Group in Hyderabad is seeking a Financial Reporting Specialist at Associate/Sr. Associate/AVP level to review and prepare financial statements across GAAPs including IFRS, US GAAP and other regional standards.

You will lead a team, drive efficient processes, and ensure accuracy in a production-driven environment. The role requires strong accounting background, certifications, and excellent MS Excel/Word skills, with collaboration across onshore teams, clients and auditors for timely

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting/Finance or professional qualification (CA/CPA/ACCA/CFA).
• Experience in Financial Reporting, preferably Hedge Funds/Private Equity.
• Excellent interpersonal and time management skills; proficient in MS Excel and MS Word.

Responsibilities

• Develop procedures to make the FR process efficient and standardized.
• Manage a team in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment with accuracy.
• Provide training and development to team members to maintain client service standards.
• Coordinate with onshore, clients, auditors and director to resolve queries.
• Experience in Financial Reporting, including Hedge Funds; IFRS/US GAAP reporting preferred.

Job specification

As a Financial Reporting Specialist, you will review financial statements for Hedge Funds, Private Equity funds, Real Estate entities and similar structures across multiple GAAP frameworks, including IFRS, US GAAP, UK GAAP, Luxembourg GAAP, and Canadian GAAP. You will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements based on the provided data, as well as conducting thorough reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop document and institute procedures to make the FR process more efficient and standardized, saving time and money
• Manage a team in a high-volume, deadline and production-driven environment while maintaining 100% accuracy
• Provide ongoing and continuous training, motivation and development of all team members to maintain high client service standards
• Use resources within the team, establishing goals and objectives of the team
• New hiring, process training for new staff, people issues, performance management, KPIs etc.
• Manage a team and deadline and be effective in a production-driven environment while maintaining 100% accuracy
• Train the team to ensure quality services to clients
• Define the timeline of financial statements onshore
• Resolve queries raised by Onshore, Clients, Auditors, and Director.
• Experience in Financial Reporting
• Experience of Financial Reporting in Hedge Funds
• Manual experience of reporting in IFRS/US GAAP is preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and time management skills
• Adaptability in MS Excel and MS Word.

Skills Required

Bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting/Finance required or any a professional qualification, CA, CPA, ACCA, CFA, or any course specialising in accounting.
