insightsoftware in Kolkata seeks a qualified accountant with 5+ years of accounting experience to manage statutory financial statements under EU/French GAAP and oversee VAT compliance. You will prepare audit schedules for local and US GAAP audits and implement consistent accounting policies across regional entities.

You will liaise with stakeholders, provide ad hoc analyses, conduct balance sheet reviews, and help scale processes for growth.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with 5+ years accounting experience; Big 4 background preferred.
• Knowledge of French GAAP will be an added advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to interact with all levels.
• Experience with NetSuite/Salesforce and software industry exposure is a plus.
• Willingness to work in UK time zone and global teams.

Responsibilities

• Execute and ensure that the control environments are accurate and in compliance with local (EUI/French )accounting standards and reporting requirements.
• Fully responsible for the statutory financial statements (EU/French) and the oversight for other compliance requirements in-country such as VAT compilations etc.
• Prepare audit schedules for both local statutory (EU/French) audits and USGAAP audits
• Implement consistent global accounting policies and procedures within the regional entities
• Create processes around areas of responsibility to ensure accurate and timely reporting of results
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis support to the Finance team and business as the need arises
• Perform balance sheet reviews and report on monthly income statement analytics
• Liaise with stakeholders to discuss and resolve complex accounting issues
• Liaise with business owners to ensure that processes and deadlines are clearly understood
• Collaborate to support the development of processes that are scalable to cater for Insightsoftware’s growth, including future expansion into new locations
• Other ad hoc duties as identified by the center of excellence management team

Minimum Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with 5+ years of accounting experience, Big 4 accounting experience preferred with
• Knowledge of French GAAP will be added advantage
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to interact effectively with all levels both within and outside the company.
• Ability to communicate freely verbally and in writing in English (Other European/French language will be an advantage)

Preferred Qualifications

• Mix of Big 4 and industry experience in Accounting , Audit & Compliance.
• Experience with NetSuite/Salesforce
• Software industry experience preferred
• Able to work UK time zone
