Job summary

insightsoftware, a global provider of reporting and analytics, seeks an experienced accounting professional to manage statutory reporting, audits, and global accounting policy implementation for regional entities. The role requires strong English communication and will interact with stakeholders across functions.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in accounting, Big 4 experience preferred, and knowledge of French GAAP is advantageous.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably with Big 4 background.
• Knowledge of French GAAP is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English; others a plus.
• Mix of Big 4 and industry experience in Accounting, Audit & Compliance.

Responsibilities

• Execute and ensure control environments are accurate and compliant with local accounting standards and reporting requirements.
• Prepare statutory financial statements and oversee VAT and other local compliance.
• Prepare audit schedules for local and USGAAP audits.
• Implement consistent global accounting policies within regional entities.
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis and monthly balance sheet/income statement analytics.
• Liaise with stakeholders to discuss and resolve complex accounting issues.
• Support scalable processes for future expansion and growth.

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Execute and ensure that the control environments are accurate and in compliance with local (EUI/French) accounting standards and reporting requirements.
• Fully responsible for the statutory financial statements (EU/French) and the oversight for other compliance requirements in-country such as VAT compilations etc.
• Prepare audit schedules for both local statutory (EU/French) audits and USGAAP audits.
• Implement consistent global accounting policies and procedures within the regional entities.
• Create processes around areas of responsibility to ensure accurate and timely reporting of results.
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis support to the Finance team and business as the need arises.
• Perform balance sheet reviews and report on monthly income statement analytics.
• Liaise with stakeholders to discuss and resolve complex accounting issues.
• Liaise with business owners to ensure that processes and deadlines are clearly understood.
• Collaborate to support the development of processes that are scalable to cater for Insightsoftware's growth, including future expansion into new locations.
• Other ad hoc duties as identified by the center of excellence management team.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with 5+ years of accounting experience, Big 4 accounting experience preferred with Knowledge of French GAAP will be added advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to interact effectively with all levels both within and outside the company.
• Ability to communicate freely verbally and in writing in English (Other European/French language will be an advantage).
• Mix of Big 4 and industry experience in Accounting, Audit & Compliance.
• Experience with NetSuite/Salesforce Software industry experience preferred.
• Able to work UK time zone.
