Job summary

India Mortgage Guarantee Corporation (IMGC) is seeking a CA with strong financial modelling and FP&A skills to lead strategic financial planning and analysis. The role involves coordinating across functions, managing rolling forecasts, and delivering MIS & board-ready materials.

The candidate will monitor Opex, assist with pricing strategies, and support finance projects. Prior FP&A exposure and IFRS/GAAP knowledge are valued, with a focus on robust forecasting and financial storytelling.

• Prior FP&A experience is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Strategic Financial Plans: develop annual and long-range plans aligned with company goals.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across functions to gather information and compare actuals to plan.
• Maintain rolling forecasts and update projections as conditions change.
• Produce MIS reports and interactive dashboards for senior management with KPIs.
• Monitor Opex against budget and identify cost optimization opportunities.
• Help determine product pricing using different scenarios and present to Board/TC.
• Perform volume analysis to provide insights for growth and performance.
• Create high-level board decks summarizing financial performance and key developments.
• Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support for finance projects and initiatives.

Role & responsibilities

• Preparation of Strategic Financial Plans: Develop both annual and long-range financial plans for the business, aligning with the companys overall goals and strategies.
• Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with different functions to gather necessary information and prepare financial plans. Ensure that actual performance is continuously evaluated against the planned objectives.
• Rolling Forecasts: Regularly update financial forecasts in response to changing business conditions and actual performance, ensuring that future projections are accurate and aligned with company objectives.
• Key Reporting (MIS & Dashboards): Prepare weekly and monthly Management Information reports to support decision making and highlighting deviations from the plan. Developing interactive dashboards that provide senior management with key performance metrics.
• Opex Analysis: Monitor operational expenses against the approved budget, identifying opportunities for cost optimization and suggesting areas for expense reduction.
• Product Pricing: Collaborate with different functions to determine product pricing. Evaluate various price points based on different return scenarios and prepare comprehensive presentations for pricing approvals from the Board or Technical Committee.
• Volume Analysis: Analyze sales and operational volumes, providing insights and actionable recommendations to help drive business growth and improve performance.
• Board Deck Preparation: Develop comprehensive, high-level board presentations that summarize financial performance, key business developments, performance against budget and other critical metrics.
• Support for Financial Analysis: Provide ad-hoc support for various financial analyses, helping the finance department with reports, presentations, and any other financial requirements.
• Support for Finance Department Projects: Assist with various projects led by the finance department, contributing to the development and execution of financial strategies, processes, or systems.
