MODIFI is building a next-generation global trade payment platform. Based in Mumbai, the Financial Operations & Reporting Manager will own end-to-end internal and external management reporting across five global entities, driving robust financial analysis, budgeting, and process automation.

You will partner with the Head of Treasury, manage multi-currency data flows, and support treasury with dashboards, variances, cash flow projections, and board reporting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or MBA/CA preferred or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–5 years FP&A, MIS reporting, corporate finance or financial operations experience.
• Seeking a stable, long-term career in a fintech/global environment.
• Strong proficiency in financial analysis, variance analysis and ad-hoc modelling.
• Structured, accurate approach to multi-currency environments and reporting.
• Able to deliver on time in a fast-paced setting.
• Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets; fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end internal and external management reporting for multiple entities.
• Coordinate budgeting, variance analysis, cash flow reports and board reporting.
• Ensure monthly data, documents and supporting data for P&L across group entities.
• Assist treasury with data flow, dashboarding, forecasts, reconciliations and cost optimization.
• Collaborate with internal finance and collections teams on reporting and controls.

As the Financial Operations & Reporting Manager, you will be the engine room of MODIFI's operations & reporting and will be closely working with the Head of Treasury (HoT). You will manage end to end Internal & External Management Reporting, coordinate across five global entities, and ensure robust financial analysis, budgeting and process automation. You will also act as a source of data for the accounting function of the company. We are looking for a proactive and well-structured "owner" who can navigate complex multi-currency environments and ensure our reports are completed on time with 100% accuracy and speed.

• Management Reporting: Manage end-to-end Reporting for both internal & external stakeholders (includes and not limited to Categorical Revenue Reports, Consolidated Revenue Analysis, Budgeting & Variance Analysis includes Budget Preparation, Budget Trackings, Projected Cash Flow Reports, Management Accounting Reports, and Contribution in Board Reportings etc.), taking 100% ownership of daily, monthly, quarterly & annual reporting.
• Data Management for Accounting: Ensuring monthly data along with documents, reports and supporting data available for all the group entities for monthly entity wise P&L preparation, accounting, and cash flow preparations.
• Treasury Support: Assist the HoT with streamlining data flow, dashboarding & run automation, fund forecasts, AUP audit coordination, budget & fund variance analysis, reconciliations, internal spot checks, scenario analysis, and cost-optimization initiatives.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Regularly assist the internal Finance Team (budget management, payment registers) and the Collections Team.

• Master's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or equivalent practical experience (MBA/PGDM Finance or CA preferred)
• 3-5 years of professional experience in financial planning & analysis (FP&A), MIS reporting, corporate finance, or financial operations, preferably within a fast-paced fintech, startup, or international corporate environment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets; fluent in English.
