Job summary

Juniper Green Energy in Gurugram (Corporate Office) is seeking a finance professional with strong analytical and financial modelling skills to support the Business Development function.

You will evaluate new opportunities, analyse tender documents, develop project finance models, assess operational projects, track competitors and maintain portfolio MIS for informed decision‑making. This is a hands‑on, growth‑oriented role in the renewable energy sector.

Qualifications

• MBA/PGDM in Finance, CA, CFA or equivalent qualification.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in financial modelling, project finance, business development, investment analysis or renewable energy.
• Experience in renewable energy / infrastructure / power sector preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed analysis of tender documents, RfPs, bid guidelines and commercial terms.
• Develop and maintain financial models for new bids, including project economics, revenue assumptions, costs, financing, returns and sensitivity analysis.
• Evaluate the financial viability and commercial attractiveness of prospective projects.
• Support the BD team in bid strategy, pricing decisions and investment evaluation.
• Undertake ongoing financial and strategic analysis of operational projects.
• Monitor project performance against key financial and operational assumptions.
• Identify variances, risks and opportunities and provide insights to support management decision-making.
• Prepare periodic management reports and portfolio MIS for executives.

About the organisation:

We are an independent power producer(“IPP”) in India which develops, builds, operates and maintains utility scale renewable energy projects through. Our portfolio of projects include wind, solar, wind-solar hybrid, firm and dispatchable renewable energy and battery energy storage systems. As of August 2026, our total portfolio including operational, Under Construction Contracted and Under Construction Awarded projects, stands at ~11 GWp generating capacity and ~9 GWh BESS.

Role Overview

We are looking for a finance professional with strong analytical and financial modelling skills to support the Business Development function. The role will involve evaluating new business opportunities, analysing tender documents, developing project financial models, assessing operational projects, tracking competitors and maintaining portfolio-level MIS.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed analysis of tender documents, RfPs, bid guidelines and commercial terms.
• Develop and maintain financial models for new bids, including project economics, revenue assumptions, costs, financing, returns and sensitivity analysis.
• Evaluate the financial viability and commercial attractiveness of prospective projects.

• Strategic Analysis of Operational Projects
• Undertake ongoing financial and strategic analysis of operational projects.
• Monitor project performance against key financial and operational assumptions.

• Conduct scenario and sensitivity analysis to assess the impact of key business variables.
• Competitor Analysis
• Track competitors, market developments, tender participation and industry trends.
• Analyse competitor strategies, project economics, tariffs/pricing and bidding behaviour.
• Prepare periodic competitor benchmarking and market intelligence reports for management.
• Maintain comprehensive MIS for the organisation's project portfolio.
• Track key project parameters including capacity, project status, tariffs, timelines, financial metrics and other relevant commercial indicators.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency and timely updation of portfolio data.
• Prepare periodic management reports, dashboards and presentations highlighting portfolio performance and key insights.

Qualification & Experience

• MBA/PGDM in Finance, CA, CFA or equivalent qualification.
