Mythri Builders in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Chartered Accountant to lead project accounting, budgeting, and financial controls for real estate developments. You will manage project-wise accounting, GST, TDS, tax compliance, and financial reporting, coordinating with auditors, banks, and internal teams.

The role requires extensive post-qualification experience, strong Excel and ERP skills, and the ability to analyze costs, margins, and cash flow to guide management decisions.

Role & responsibilities

• Managed accounting and financial reporting for real estate projects, including revenue, expenses, receivables, payables, and project-related transactions.


• Prepared and reviewed financial statements, management reports, MIS, budgets, cash-flow statements, and project profitability reports.
  Handled GST, TDS, income tax, and other statutory compliance requirements applicable to real estate operations.


• Managed project-wise accounting and monitored construction costs, development expenses, land-related costs, and overheads.


• Prepared and reviewed project cost statements, profitability analysis, cash-flow projections, and variance reports.


• Monitored customer collections, outstanding receivables, vendor payments, and project cash flows.


• Coordinated with auditors, tax consultants, banks, legal teams, developers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.


• Assisted in project financing, loan documentation, interest calculations, and reconciliation of bank and lender accounts.


• Conducted periodic bank, vendor, customer, GST, TDS, and general ledger reconciliations.


• Supported real estate transactions, including property acquisitions, sales, joint ventures, development agreements, and related accounting treatment.


• Ensured compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, company policies, and internal financial controls.


• Prepared data and schedules for statutory audits, internal audits, tax audits, and other regulatory requirements.


• Analyzed project-wise financial performance and provided management with insights on costs, margins, working capital, and cash flow.


• Implemented and monitored internal controls to improve financial accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency.


• Assisted management in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making.
  

Preferred candidate profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India


• 56 years of relevant post-qualification experience in finance, accounting, taxation, audit, and statutory compliance.


• Candidates with relevant experience in the real estate or construction industry will be preferred.


• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, financial reporting, and accounting standards.


• Hands-on experience in project-wise accounting, budgeting, costing, MIS reporting, cash-flow management, and financial analysis.


• Experience in coordinating with statutory auditors, tax consultants, banks, and internal management.


• Good working knowledge of MS Excel and accounting/ERP software.


• Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.


• Should be detail-oriented, responsible, and capable of managing financial activities within defined timelines.


• Candidates with a strong understanding of real estate project accounting and financial management will be preferred.
