Job summary

Open Dhi is seeking a senior financial professional to lead month-end close and statutory accounting in a multi-entity environment. Strong IFRS knowledge and European GAAP experience are required, with hands-on ERP experience (NetSuite preferred).

You will work in an English-speaking, globally connected finance team, using Excel extensively and exploring AI tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency. European language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in financial controlling or statutory accounting.
• Experience owning month-end close and statutory accounts.
• Good knowledge of IFRS and at least one European local GAAP.
• Hands-on ERP experience; NetSuite preferred or quick to learn other ERP.
• Intermediate Excel skills: pivots, lookups, formulas.
• Fluent English in written and spoken communication.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end close processes and statutory accounts within a multi-entity setup.
• Engage in group reporting, audit correspondence, and intercompany communications.
• Leverage AI tools with accuracy checks to improve processes.
• Support Europe-related accounting activities and language requirements.

Job description

5+ years of hands-on experience in financial controlling, general ledger accounting, or statutory accounting in an international or multi-entity environment.

• A track record of owning month-end close and statutory accounts, not just supporting them.
• Good working knowledge of IFRS and at least one European local GAAP.
• Hands‑on experience with an ERP system. NetSuite is strongly preferred, if you know another major ERP, you will pick it up quickly.
• Comfort with Excel at an intermediate level. Pivot tables, lookups, and formulas are daily tools.
• Fluency in English written and spoken. Group reporting, audit correspondence, and intercompany communication are all in English.
• A practical attitude to AI tools, curiosity about what they can do, and the critical instinct to check whether what they produce is actually correct.
• An additional European language is a plus, depending on your assigned entity. Should have Europe Experience
