Job summary

Dr. Paws, a chain of veterinary clinics headquartered in Bangalore, is hiring for a Finance Controller/Head of Finance to manage ledgers, budgeting, controls, and external audits.

This on-site role requires strong Excel skills, ERP experience, and the ability to communicate financial information to non-finance stakeholders. Ideal candidates will be Chartered Accountants with 3–4 years of relevant experience, preferably in consumer startups, and a track record of building robust financial

Qualifications

• CA mandatory (or cleared at least 2 groups of CA)
• 3-4 years experience, either: reported directly to a Financial Controller, or worked as a Financial Controller with less than 3 years experience
• Prior experience at a consumer startup is mandatory
• Strong Excel + ERP/financial software skills

• Own general ledgers, cash flow, AP/AR
• Prepare and review monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements
• Build and track budgets, analyze variances and financial performance
• Implement internal controls and optimize finance processes

Our clinics have everything a pet-parent would need under one roof (vet consults, grooming, pet-retail, diagnostics, imaging, surgeries etc.)

Key responsibilities:

• Own general ledgers, cash flow, AP/AR

Requirements:
