Job summary

ClickPost, a post-purchase intelligence platform, seeks a Head of Finance to lead planning, reporting, and controls. You will report to the CEO and collaborate with cross-functional leaders to drive growth with financial integrity in a fast-moving SaaS environment.

You will own budgeting, forecasting, regulatory compliance, and investor-ready reporting, while building scalable processes, coordinating with auditors and tax authorities, and guiding strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

• CA/ICWA required with proven leadership in SaaS/tech finance.
• Strong knowledge of IND AS, regulatory reporting, and controls.
• Experience with venture-funded startups and high-growth environments.

Responsibilities

Role Overview:

This role will be responsible for Financial Planning & Controlling, Management reporting ensuring financial integrity and strong controls. This position will be reporting to the CEO.

What you will do :

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the finance department.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of financial metrics and reports such as MIS, CFS, Budget vs Actual, etc
• Implement systems and tools for regular and periodic financial reporting, highlight variances, investigate causes, recommend corrective action, and track its implementation for easy access and transparency in business information for effective decision-making.
• Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational goals.
• Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, tax authorities, and other financial institutions.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in regulations affecting the organization's financial operations.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize financial processes and drive efficiency.
• Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes to support the organization's growth objectives.
• Lead the legal framework and ensure that contracts are validated.
• Drive cash flow management, including forecasting, monitoring burn, and optimising working capital.
• Assist in fundraising preparation through financial analysis, forecasting, and investor-ready reports.

Controlling/Budgeting & Management Information System:

• Work closely with Cross-Functional Teams to devise the Annual Operating Plan, monitor the same, and set up cost norms.

What You ll Need to Succeed:

• Proven experience as a Head of Finance, Director of Finance, or similar role, preferably in the SaaS or technology sector.
• Financial acumen with a professional course such as CA / ICWA is mandatory.
• In-depth knowledge of INDAS/financial analysis, reporting, and management.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of tax compliance regulations and laws is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in high growth startup environment
• Must have prior experience working with venture-funded startups, preferably in a high-growth environment.
