Job summary

Crisil in Mumbai is seeking a detail-oriented research professional to support portfolio analysis, mutual fund research, and customized research assignments for asset managers and institutional investors.

You will review policies, SOPs, prepare reports, and present client reports; ensure high quality output, meet deliverables, and adhere to SLAs while maintaining rigorous documentation. This role emphasizes client engagement and stakeholder coordination for insights.

Qualifications

• Experience in portfolio analysis and mutual fund research.
• Ability to conduct qualitative research on policies and SOPs.
• Familiarity with customized research for asset managers and institutional investors.

Responsibilities

• Portfolio Analysis / Mutual Fund Research: quantitative analysis of portfolio, schemes, fund managers and AMCs.
• Qualitative Research: review policies and prepare reports on retirement, fund management and strategy.
• Customized Research: deep analysis of capital market instruments including PMS, INVTs, REITs, AIFs for clients.
• Process Adherence: maintain high quality outputs and meet client deliverables with SLA compliance.
• Client Management / Stakeholder Management: ongoing engagement with clients and presenting reports.

Functional Responsibility / Domain Related

• Portfolio Analysis / Mutual Fund Research:
  • Quantitative analysis: Analysis of Portfolio / Schemes / Fund Managers / AMC based on performance attribution and portfolio-based attributes.
  • Qualitative Research: Review of policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs) preparation of reports on themes related to retirement, fund management, strategy etc
• Customized Research:
  • Deep understanding of capital market instruments and detailed analysis, includes PMS, INVTs, REITs, AIFs for customized research assignments;
  • Any other form of customised research for asset managers, distributors and institutional investors

Process Adherence

• Ensure high quality of analysis and research output
• Successfully meeting deliverables and client requirements
• Initiatives for productivity improvement
• Successfully adhering to SLAs (service level agreements) on specific client engagements
• Documentation of processes

Client Management / Stakeholder Management
