Job summary

Applicantz, Inc. seeks a seasoned Financial Analyst with 6–7 years total experience, including 5+ years in finance, to lead FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, spend management and financial reporting from Bengaluru.

The role partners with FBPs and budget owners to translate data into actionable insights that influence business decisions. You will manage OPEX and COGS budgets, prepare monthly and quarterly management reports, track headcount and fixed costs, and support quarter-end activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.
• MBA, CPA, or CMA qualification is an added advantage.
• Experience: 6-7 years overall, with 5+ years of relevant finance experience.
• Location: Bengaluru, with 3 days per week in the office.

Responsibilities

• Manage OPEX and COGS budgets, forecasts, and actuals, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting.
• Analyse spending trends, identify cost-saving opportunities, and highlight financial risks.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports and communicate key insights to senior stakeholders.
• Partner with Finance and HR teams to track headcount, hiring plans, and fixed costs.
• Manage quarter-end activities, including accruals and cross-charges, in coordination with Corporate Accounting.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and accounting procedures.
• Develop financial models and templates, improve reporting processes, and support ad-hoc financial analysis.

We are looking for a skilled Financial Analyst with 6-7 years of overall experience and at least 5 years of relevant finance experience. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), budgeting, forecasting, spend management, and financial reporting.
