Job summary

HP Inc. is seeking a Senior Finance Process Excellence professional to lead strategic process improvements across Finance, driving standardization, automation, and transformation of end-to-end processes.

The role requires deep finance process knowledge and expertise in Lean Six Sigma and digital transformation. Responsibilities include process mapping, governance, and partnering with global stakeholders to improve productivity, quality, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance.
• MBA, CA, CPA, CMA or equivalent qualification.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification.
• 13–15+ years of experience in Finance operations, Finance transformation, Process Excellence, Shared Services, or Consulting.
• Strong understanding of finance processes (R2R, P2P, O2C, FP&A, Business Finance).
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Dynamics 365, Workday.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Knowledge of Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, Alteryx, UiPath, or similar automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and implement opportunities to optimize end-to-end finance processes across R2R, P2P, O2C, FP&A and Business Finance.
• Lead process mapping, value stream analysis, root cause analysis, and process redesign initiatives.
• Drive standardization and harmonization of finance processes across regions and business units.
• Deliver measurable improvements in productivity, cycle time, quality, and customer experience.
• Apply Lean, Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies to eliminate waste.
• Establish process performance metrics, KPIs, and governance mechanisms.
• Partner with technology teams to identify and implement automation opportunities using RPA, AI, workflow tools, and ERP capabilities.
• Support ERP implementations, upgrades, and migrations.
• Collaborate with Finance leaders and cross-functional teams; facilitate workshops and drive alignment.

This role will drive standardization, automation, simplification, and transformation of end-to-end finance processes while partnering with global stakeholders to improve efficiency, quality, compliance, and business outcomes.

The ideal candidate will possess deep finance process knowledge, strong analytical capabilities, and expertise in Lean Six Sigma, process reengineering, and digital transformation.

Process Improvement & Transformation

• Identify, evaluate, and implement opportunities to optimize end-to-end finance processes across areas such as Record-to-Report (R2R), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and, Business Finance
• Lead process mapping, value stream analysis, root cause analysis, and process redesign initiatives.
• Drive standardization and harmonization of finance processes across regions and business units.
• Deliver measurable improvements in productivity, cycle time, quality, and customer experience.

Operational Excellence

• Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies to eliminate waste and improve operational effectiveness.
• Establish process performance metrics, KPIs, and governance mechanisms.

Automation & Digital Enablement

• Partner with technology teams to identify and implement automation opportunities using RPA, AI, workflow tools, and ERP capabilities.
• Support digital transformation initiatives, including ERP implementations, upgrades, and process migrations.
• Assess business requirements and translate them into scalable process solutions.

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with Finance leaders, Finance Operations, Controllership, Corporate Functions, BU Finance, Audit, and cross-functional teams.
• Facilitate workshops and drive alignment on process improvement priorities.
• Influence stakeholders at multiple organizational levels without direct authority.

Risk & Controls

• Ensure process improvements maintain compliance with internal controls, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
• Support audit readiness and remediation efforts where required.
• Identify and mitigate process risks through proactive governance.

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Finance,
• Preferred MBA, CA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional qualification.
