Job summary

HWT Global is seeking a Financial Analyst to join the CFO Office in Mumbai. You will perform financial analysis, support decision-making, and prepare management reports and dashboards to enable strategic insights.

The role requires 3–7 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, FP&A or corporate finance, with professional qualifications such as CA, CFA, or MBA Finance preferred.

Qualifications

• CA / CFA / MBA Finance or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Strong financial-analysis experience required.
• 3 to 7 years of relevant experience in Financial Analysis / CFO Office / Corporate Finance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial analysis and reports for the CFO on a recurring and ad-hoc basis.
• Analyze revenue, margins, costs and business performance.
• Support preparation of management MIS and KPI reports.
• Prepare financial models, schedules and management presentations as required.
• Consolidate financial and operational information from different functions.
• Undertake analytical assignments entrusted by the CFO.
• Support the CFO in transforming data into actionable insights.
• Maintain a central repository of key financial and operational information for the CFO.
• Prepare briefing notes and background material for important meetings.
• Coordinate timely receipt of information from various departments.

Reporting To: Joint Chief Financial Officer

Location: Mumbai

Role Type: Full-time

Role Purpose

The Financial Business Analyst will work closely with the Joint CFO as an extension of the CFO Office, providing executive coordination, cross-functional follow-up, financial analysis and management decision support.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Analysis & Decision Support

• Prepare financial analysis and reports for the CFO on a recurring and ad-hoc basis.
• Analyze revenue, margins, costs and business performance.
• Support preparation of management MIS and KPI reports.
• Prepare financial models, schedules and management presentations as required.
• Consolidate financial and operational information received from different functions.
• Undertake specific analytical assignments/projects entrusted by the CFO.
• Support the CFO in converting financial and operational data into management insights.

CFO Information & Management Support

• Maintain a central repository of key financial, operational and management information required by the CFO.
• Prepare briefing notes and background material before important meetings.
• Support preparation of presentations, management notes and internal communications.
• Tracker of important decisions and follow-up requirements arising from CFO meetings.
• Coordinate timely receipt of information from various departments.
• Assist in ensuring that the CFO has accurate, relevant and timely information for decision-making.

Candidate Profile

Education & Experience

• CA / CFA / MBA Finance / equivalent qualification preferred.
• Candidates with strong financial-analysis experience and relevant qualifications may also be considered.
