Job summary

Electronic Arts in Hyderabad, India is looking for a Financial Analyst to support FP&A with forecasting, planning, and reporting. You will partner with onshore services and global business teams to provide financial insights that guide strategy and performance.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in Financial/FP&A, strong Excel and PowerPoint, and experience with Anaplan or Power BI. MBA in Finance is a plus but not mandatory; a Finance/Accounting bachelor's is required.

Qualifications

  • MBA in Finance is preferred but not mandatory; Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting required.
  • 3–5 years of related Financial and FP&A experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office with emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Anaplan and/or Power BI is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Forecasting, Planning, and Reporting – assist the onshore services team in monthly/quarterly forecast and annual planning processes.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of reporting deliverables in advance of Quarterly Business Reviews, MBRs, etc.
  • Discuss plan and forecast numbers, and then load in the system after consulting with the business leaders.
  • Report Actuals, comparing them with plan/latest forecast and providing commentary for major variances.
  • Provide heads up to leaders with respect to any unforeseen expenses.
  • Review monthly financial actuals, identify accounting adjustments including amortizations and reclasses, and partner with accounting to ensure accurate month-end journal entries.
  • Create Power BI reports when requested by business teams.
  • Regular interaction with global business partners who are operating from different locations across globe.
  • Maintain high data accuracy & keenness on number matching.

Financial Analyst

Location: Hyderabad.


You will report to Manager, FP&A


The CFO organization comprises a broad group of finance disciplines, with the common goal of
partnering with business teams delivering strategies and providing our players with amazing

Responsibilities:


  • Forecasting, Planning, and Reporting – Assist the onshore services team in monthly /quarterly forecast and annual planning processes.

Risks & Opportunities.


  • Should have keen eye to details especially in situations where cost reduction is necessary and make recommendations to the leadership.

  • Work directly with global business partners and help them with the daily finance adhocs

  • Creation of new Power BI reports whenever there is a business team request for new report/info.

  • Regular interaction with various business partners who are operating from different locations across globe.

  • High data accuracy & keenness on number matching is a must.


Qualifications:


  • Academic Qualifications - Good to have Master of Business Administration in Finance but not mandatory. Bachelor’s degree required – Finance / Accounting related field preferred.

  • 3 - 5 years of related Financial and FP&A experience

  • Demonstrated passion for learning and growing.

  • Highly motived with an ability to manage multiple and sometimes competing priorities.

  • Comfortable building analysis based off data from multiple sources.

  • Extreme attention to detail with a rigorous process for review of accuracy.

  • Excellent oral / written communication and interpersonal skills that enable clear and concise communication to all levels of the organization.

  • Adept in MS Office, with a strong emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Experience with Anaplan and / Power Bi is a plus
