Job summary

Biz2Credit is seeking a Financial Analyst with strong accounting and interpersonal skills to support the closing process, monthly reporting, and portfolio accounting. The role reports to the Manager- Servicing and offers growth as the company expands.

The candidate will reconcile bank activity, maintain client portfolios, and perform variance analysis, leveraging advanced Excel and modeling skills while ensuring GAAP compliance and effective communication.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge and application of GAAP.
• Excellent Excel and modeling skills.
• Good communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the closing process and preparation of monthly reporting package.
• Reconcile daily bank activity and client cash.
• Maintain accounting for client portfolios.
• Strong knowledge and application of accounting rules (GAAP).
• Analyze results and present variance vs. plan and prior periods; lead ad-hoc analyses.
• Ability to shape business processes and drive projects to completion.

Biz2Credit is looking for a smart, high-energy individual with strong accounting and interpersonal skills. The Financial analyst will play a critical role in maintenance and reconciliation of books and will assist with loan servicing and investment portfolio reporting and management. This position will have significant growth potential in responsibilities as the company grows.

The role will report to the Manager- Servicing. Overall, the individual will assist with the following:

• Assist in the closing process and preparation of monthly reporting package.
• Reconcile daily bank activity and client cash
• Maintain accounting for client portfolios
• Strong knowledge and application of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) .
• Analyze results and present variance vs. plan and vs. prior periods and lead special projects and ad-hoc analysis.
• Strong knowledge and application of accounting rules
• Ability to shape business processes, to drive projects to completion and get things done
• Understanding and application of controls
• Advanced Excel and modeling skills
• Strong detail orientation a must
• Good communications skills
• The candidate should have 2-4 years of relevant experience.
