Job summary

SevenMentor seeks a Financial Analyst Trainer to deliver industry‑aligned training for students and professionals in Pune. You will cover financial statement analysis, valuation, budgeting, forecasting and data‑driven decision‑making.

You will design curricula, conduct sessions online/onsite/hybrid, mentor learners, assess progress, and collaborate with placement teams to help learners build portfolios for job placement.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in finance or analytics; trainer experience preferred.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Financial Analyst Trainer to conduct professional training sessions for students and working professionals aspiring to build a career in finance and analytics. The trainer will deliver industry‑relevant sessions covering financial statement analysis, valuation techniques, budgeting, forecasting, and data‑driven decision‑making.

Key Responsibilities

• Training Delivery: Conduct financial analysis and modeling training sessions in classroom, online, or hybrid modes.
• Curriculum Development: Develop, review, and continuously improve course content, ensuring alignment with the latest industry trends and financial tools. Design practical assignments, case studies, and financial models for hands‑on learning. Integrate modern financial analytics tools (Excel, Power BI, etc.) into the curriculum.
• Learner Engagement & Mentorship: Guide learners in applying financial concepts to real‑world business scenarios. Mentor students through projects and help them build portfolios for job placement. Provide interview preparation, resume guidance, and soft‑skills support where required.
• Reporting & Coordination: Collaborate with academic and placement teams for batch scheduling and learner progress tracking. Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student performance.

• Experience: Minimum 3–5 years as a Financial Analyst, Investment Analyst, or similar role.
• Training Experience: Prior experience as a trainer or corporate instructor preferred.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced MS Excel; Financial modeling & valuation; Data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau – preferred); Understanding of IFRS/GAAP.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.
• Preferred Domains: Investment banking, equity research, or FP&A. Familiarity with Bloomberg, SAP, or other financial platforms. Ability to simplify complex concepts for learners at different levels.
