Job summary

Anko Sourcing, the exclusive direct sourcing arm of Kmart Group, seeks a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to support our Finance team in accounting operations, compliance activities, reporting, and process improvement initiatives. You will work closely with the Accounting Lead and Senior Accountant in a fast-paced multinational environment.

• Bachelor-level finance or accounting degree required or equivalent
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Proficient MS Excel skills including Pivot Tables and lookup functions
• Strong analytical and numerical abilities with attention to detail
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
• Willingness to learn and take ownership of tasks

Responsibilities

• Assist in Accounts Payable processing and vendor invoice documentation
• Support Accounts Receivable tracking and follow-up activities
• Assist with General Ledger reconciliations and accounting schedules
• Prepare supporting documentation for month-end close activities
• Maintain organized financial records and documentation
• Perform bank, vendor, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Support data analysis and preparation of ad-hoc financial reports
• Maintain finance documentation and filing systems
• Organize contracts, invoices, tax records, and approvals
• Support special projects assigned by the Finance Manager

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to support our Finance team in accounting operations, compliance activities, reporting, and process improvement initiatives. This role offers hands-on exposure to Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), month-end close activities, statutory compliance, audits, and finance transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Operations

• Assist in Accounts Payable processing and vendor invoice documentation.
