Job Summary: The Finance Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing financial projects and ensuring the effective financial management of the school. This includes budgeting, financial analysis, reporting, and compliance. The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant (CA) with a strong background in project management and a thorough understanding of educational finance, preferably within an IB World School.


Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Analysis:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies and plans in alignment with the school’s goals and objectives.

  • Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting for various projects.

  • Monitor financial performance and provide regular reports to senior management.


Project Management:

  • Lead and manage financial projects from inception to completion.

  • Coordinate with different departments to ensure project alignment and successful execution.

  • Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project objectives are met within budget and timeline.


Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Prepare and manage the annual budget, ensuring accurate allocation of resources.

  • Conduct regular budget reviews and adjust forecasts as necessary.

  • Provide detailed financial reports and analysis to support decision‑making processes.


Compliance and Audit:

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and school policies.

  • Coordinate internal and external audits, addressing any findings and implementing recommendations.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.


Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports for the Board of Directors, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.

  • Ensure transparency and accuracy in all financial disclosures.

  • Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data analysis.


Team Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate with academic and administrative staff to support the school’s financial needs.

  • Facilitate training and development programs for finance team members.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.

  • Proven experience in financial management and project management, preferably in an educational setting.

  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and budgeting processes.

  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.

  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

  • High level of integrity and ethical standards.
