Leru Remote is seeking a Finance Operations Accountant to support offshore finance operations for a UK-based financial services client. The role sits at the intersection of accounting, treasury, and operational finance, offering exposure to sophisticated financial operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 3–6+ years of experience in accounting or finance operations.
• Experience in financial services or investment environments is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of reconciliations, payments, and banking operations.
• Proficiency with Excel and ERP systems.
• Experience with multi-entity finance environments preferred.

Responsibilities

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Finance and Accounting Operations

• Manage day-to-day finance operations and accounting support activities
• Assist with reconciliations, expense tracking, and financial record management

• Process invoices, supplier payments, and reimbursements

Operations Finance Support

• Support reporting and operational finance initiatives across the business
• Assist with audit preparation and compliance-related documentation

Investor & Reporting Support

• Assist with investor reporting preparation and financial documentation

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• 3-6+ years of experience in accounting, finance operations, treasury support, or operational finance roles
• Experience within financial services, investment firms, private equity, hedge funds, family offices, wealth management, or corporate finance environments is highly advantageous
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, reconciliations, payment processing, and banking operations
• Exposure to treasury administration, financial reporting, or multi-entity finance environments is preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems
• Experience using platforms such as NetSuite, Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, Oracle, SAP, or similar systems is beneficial
• Strong analytical ability and exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage confidential financial information with discretion and professionalism
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment
