Job description

We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Finance Manager to support and oversee the finance operations of Apave International entities in India. The role requires strong expertise in financial reporting, project controlling, compliance, working capital management, and stakeholder management.

Candidates having prior exposure to service delivery desk operations or shared service management will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and finalize monthly financial statements for multiple entities
  • Analyse monthly financial performance and present variance reports to management and corporate stakeholders
  • Support annual budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Develop and publish financial dashboards and MIS reports
Project Controlling & Commercial Support
  • Review commercial and financial aspects of project proposals
  • Partner with project managers on costing, profitability, tax implications, and revenue monitoring
  • Monitor project accruals, margins, and financial risks
  • Oversee receivables, payables, cash flow reporting, and related finance functions
  • Coordinate with business teams for timely collection of receivables
  • Identify financial risks related to overdue or sticky receivables
Audit, Compliance & Governance
  • Coordinate statutory, tax, transfer pricing, GST, and internal audits
  • Ensure timely filing of statutory compliances and returns
  • Monitor FEMA, ROC, and other regulatory compliances
  • Support strengthening of internal financial controls and governance processes
Service Desk Operations
  • Oversee service desk delivery operations, workload management, and performance monitoring
  • Act as an escalation point for operational and customer-related issues
  • Drive process improvements and team capability development
Desired Candidate Profile:
  • Chartered Accountant with 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong experience in financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and commercial finance
  • Exposure to service delivery desk operations / shared service environments preferred
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working in multinational or matrix organizations will be an advantage
