Job summary

Randstad India client seeks a senior financial leader to oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in line with IndAS/IFRS/Local GAAP. You will monitor cash flow, drive internal controls, and support the CFO with strategic planning and board presentations.

The role requires CA/CPA/CMA/MBA in Finance with at least 15 years post-qualification experience, including 5 years in a senior managerial capacity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preparation and finalization of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with IndAS/IFRS/Local GAAP.
• Lead tax compliance (GST, TDS, Corporate Tax) and manage statutory audits.
• Manage project costing, budgeting, and variance analysis; optimize working capital and depreciation accounting for plant/machinery.
• Lead and mentor a 3-member finance team; support CFO with board presentations, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.

Job description

Core Responsibilities

• Financial Management & Controls
  Oversee the preparation and finalization of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards (IndAS / IFRS / Local GAAP).Monitor cash flow, optimize working capital cycles, and manage fund allocation across various engineering projects.Implement and strengthen rigorous internal financial controls (IFC) and standard operating procedures (SOPs).


• Taxation & Statutory Compliance
  Ensure 100% accurate and timely compliance with all direct and indirect taxation (GST, TDS, Corporate Income Tax, Customs, etc.).Lead and manage statutory audits, internal audits, and tax assessments smoothly.Keep abreast of changing fiscal laws, assessing their impact on the engineering business.


• Project & Cost Control
  Partner with project heads to review Project Costing, Variance Analysis, and Budget vs. Actual reports.Review contract terms, commercial bids, and vendor agreements to mitigate financial risks.Oversee inventory valuation, fixed asset management, and depreciation accounting specific to plant and machinery.


• Team Leadership & CFO Support
  Mentor, guide, and evaluate the 3-member finance team to ensure high accuracy in day-to-day accounting functions (AP/AR, payroll, invoicing).Assist the CFO in preparing Board presentations, annual budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.

Candidate Profile

Education & Experience

• Qualifications: Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) / CMA / MBA in Finance.


• Experience: 15+ years of post-qualification experience, with at least 5 years in a senior managerial role experience22
