Job summary

CGH Earth is seeking an experienced Finance Manager for a luxury pre-opening project in Dasada, Gujarat. You will oversee all financial operations, ensure strong discipline, cost control, statutory compliance, and profitability while maintaining guest service standards.

Responsibilities include budgeting, accounting, revenue controls, treasury, payroll, procurement, and reporting. A minimum of 6 years in finance within hospitality is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in commerce, accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in finance and accounts, ideally in hospitality or resort operations.

Responsibilities

• Financial planning & budgeting: prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections with GM and corporate team.
• Accounting & financial reporting: oversee daily accounting, G/L, monthly/annual closings, balance sheets and P&L.
• Revenue audit & controls: audit daily revenues across rooms, F&B, wellness, and activities; reconcile PMS and POS data.
• Cost control & profitability: track operating expenses, focus on F&B costs, payroll, utilities, and procurement.
• Payables & receivables: manage vendor payments, supplier terms, and collections.
• Cash flow & treasury: monitor daily cash/bank balances and liquidity needs.
• Inventory & stores control: oversee stock counts and variances across departments.
• Statutory compliance & taxation: GST, TDS, income tax, audits coordination.
• Internal controls & risk management: maintain controls and safeguard assets.
• Fixed assets & capex: maintain asset register and depreciation; capex tracking.
• Payroll & employee costs: verify payroll; manage reimbursements.
• Procurement & vendor management: review POs and negotiate terms.
• Financial systems & reporting: oversee accounting software, PMS, and POS integrations.
• Business partnering: advise on performance, cost optimization and margins.

You will oversee all financial operations, ensuring strong financial discipline, cost control, statutory compliance, and profitability while maintaining our guest service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial planning & budgeting: prepare annual budgets, financial forecasts, and cash flow projections with the GM and corporate team. track performance against budgets, analyze variances, and evaluate the feasibility of new investments.
• Accounting & financial reporting: oversee daily accounting operations, general ledger maintenance, and monthly/annual closing. prepare balance sheets, P&L, and cash flow statements in line with company policies.
• Revenue audit & controls: audit daily revenues across rooms, F&B, wellness, and activities. reconcile PMS, POS, and accounting system data while monitoring key metrics like ADR, RevPAR, and occupancy.
• Cost control & profitability: track operating expenses across departments, focusing on F&B costs, payroll, utilities, and procurement. implement cost-saving measures without sacrificing luxury standards.
• Payables & receivables: manage vendor payments, supplier credit terms, corporate billing, and collections. oversee employee advances and operational imprests.
• Cash flow & treasury: monitor daily cash/bank balances, handle short-term liquidity needs, supervise petty cash, and manage cash handling procedures.
• Inventory & stores control: oversee physical stock counts, track inventory movements, and manage stock variances across F&B, housekeeping, and engineering stores.
• Statutory compliance & taxation: ensure timely calculation, filing, and payment for GST, TDS, income tax, and other statutory requirements. coordinate with auditors and external tax consultants.
• Internal controls & risk management: maintain robust internal controls, manage audit points, address revenue leakages, and safeguard company assets.
• Fixed assets & capex: maintain the fixed asset register, track depreciation, monitor capex against approved budgets, and conduct periodic physical asset verifications.
• Payroll & employee costs: verify monthly payroll processing with HR, manage employee reimbursements, and monitor overall manpower costs.
• Procurement & vendor management: review purchase orders, ensure proper segregation of duties, and negotiate vendor terms using cost analysis.
• Financial systems & reporting: oversee accounting software, PMS, and POS integrations to automate reporting, ensure data integrity, and create operational dashboards.
• Business partnering: advise the GM and department heads on financial performance, cost optimization, and margin improvements aligned with our sustainability and luxury goals.
• Team leadership: lead, mentor, and train the resort finance team to deliver accurate, timely output and maintain compliance.

Candidate Profile
