Job summary

PVR Limited is seeking a finance professional to oversee site accounting and store accounting functions across multiple locations in India. The role involves supervising day-to-day entries, reviewing site-wise sales, cash deposits, and invoices, and ensuring timely closing of books.

You will also train new accountants and store executives, coordinate with vendors for reconciliations, and consolidate stock reports to support audits and MIS.

Qualifications

• B.Com/M.Com/MBA in Finance is required.
• 7-8 years of experience, including 3-4 years in Asst. Manager/Manager role, in accounting and supply chain management/stores.
• Preferred SAP HANA experience, strong Excel skills, good communication, and proven leadership of large teams.

Job description

• Supervision & coordination of day-to-day work & resolution of queries of the site accountant and store executive.
• Review site-wise daily sales entry, cash deposit entry, bank entry, and invoice booking.
• Review site-wise operational debtors.
• Timely closing of books of accounts.
• Preparing relevant schedules for audit and MIS
• Review of site-wise maintenance of PAR stock level.
• Timely submission of bills for the delivery received.
• Highlighting variances like cash purchases, purchases without contract/PO, sales done without key, negative stock, and shortages in the system.
• Proper entries are done in SAP for stock transfer cases.
• Site visits & audits of site-related accounting entries, main & mini stores.
• Training for the new accountant and store executives.
• Coordinating with vendors for accounts reconciliation issues.
• Coordination with other departments and the corporate office for site-related issue.
• Consolidation and review of closing stock reports and review of of stock adjustments/variances.

Qualification:

B.Com/M.Com/MBA in Finance.

Experience:

7-8 years (3-4 yrs in Asst. Manager/Manager role) in accounting and supply chain management/stores

Preferred:

Experience with SAP HANA, Good Excel skills, strong communication abilities, and a demonstrated track record of successfully handling and leading large teams.
