Job summary

Caspian Infra Projects in Kochi seeks a seasoned Manager Finance to lead a six-member team, oversee budgeting, governance and reporting, and support the Director Finance on growth strategy.

You will ensure statutory compliance, manage cash flow, implement strong controls, coordinate audits, and mentor the finance team while collaborating with Operations and Logistics to align finances with business goals.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate in Finance or CA/CA Inter with relevant industry experience.
• 10-12 years progressive finance experience with 4-5 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in supply chain/logistics/warehousing sectors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage finance and accounting functions including AP/AR, GL, taxation, and compliance.
• Prepare and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
• Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decisions.
• Ensure statutory compliance and timely filing of returns (Direct & Indirect Taxes, GST).
• Manage working capital, banking operations, and cash flow.
• Implement financial controls, processes, and systems to strengthen governance.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors for audits.
• Mentor and lead the finance team towards departmental goals.
• Collaborate with Operations, SCM, Logistics, and Warehousing to align financial strategies with growth.

Role Overview

The role involves managing a team of six finance and accounts professionals, ensuring robust financial governance, and providing strategic support to the Director Finance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all finance and accounting functions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, taxation, and compliance.
• Prepare and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
• Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Ensure statutory compliance and timely filing of returns (Direct & Indirect Taxes, GST, etc.).
• Manage working capital, banking operations, and cash flow.
• Implement financial controls, processes, and systems to strengthen governance.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors for statutory and internal audits.
• Mentor, guide, and lead the finance team towards achieving departmental goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, SCM, Logistics, Warehousing) to align financial strategies with business growth.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Education:
  • Full-time Post Graduation in Finance (MBA/M.Com/Equivalent) OR
  • CA/CA Inter with relevant industrial experience.
• Experience: Minimum 10-12 years of progressive finance experience with at least 4-5 years in a managerial role in large or mid-sized companies, preferably in supply chain/logistics/warehousing sectors.
• Skills & Competencies:
