Job summary

RRD GO Creative in Chennai is seeking a Team Manager for the Financial Management Services group to lead a team of accounting professionals. You will guide day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accuracy, and drive process improvements while coordinating with UK and US partners.

You should have 12+ years in accounting, 4+ years in people management, and strong expertise in P2P, R2R, O2C, and ERP systems such as Yardi Voyager 7s, SAP, Oracle.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of accounting experience.
• 4+ years in people management and client handling.
• Core accounting experience in P2P, R2R, O2C and handling UK/US regions.
• Technical know-how in MS Office and ERP systems (SAP/ERP & Yardi Voyager 7s).
• Hands-on experience in financial control, reconciliation, intercompany accounting.

About the Role

RRD GO CREATIVE currently seeking Team Manager for Financial Management Services team to join in Chennai.

Responsibilities

• The Team Manager will be responsible for managing a team of accounting professionals and providing guidance and support to ensure the team meets its goals.
• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the accounting team, including developing and implementing processes and procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Prepare work instruction manuals and training modules for the team and will be responsible for providing training and guidance to team members, as well as ensuring that all accounting activities are compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team along with Customer Orientation Skills / Problem solving skills / Good team management skills.
• Maintain high level of connect and engagement with the Line of businesses and business partners in UK and US.
• Automation ideas and implementation to profit for the organization (Time / Cost savings).
• The primary responsibility will be overseeing the month/quarter/year end close, co-ordination with auditors on statutory as well as management accounts, providing financial advice and guidance to management.
• Responsible for developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures, and ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
• Prepare and review annual financials as per financial reporting standards and ensure reporting as prescribed accounting standards within due timelines.
• Perform first level appraisal for the team and advice on career path in the organization.
• Preparation and reporting of annual financials as per applicable GAAP to central entities and interacting with Group’s finance controllers for consolidation purposes.

Qualifications

• The successful candidate must have at least 12+ years of experience in accounting, MS Office Suite, Yardi Voyager 7s and JD EdwaRDS, MRI AND ORACLE ERP, 4+ Years in People Management and client handling.
• Core accounting experience in P2P, R2R, O2C / handling UK and US region.
• Technical know-how in MS Office Suite/Work experience in SAP/ ERP & Yardi Voyager 7s is essential.
• Hands-on experience in areas of financial control / Reconciliation / Intercompany accounting with similar organizations.
• Should be flexible in shift time (typically work from 5pm to 2am and may stretch during M/E close).
