KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Financial Control & Internal Audit
- Design, implement, and continuously strengthen internal financial controls and spend governance frameworks.
- Lead internal audits; proactively identify control gaps and drive corrective action before they surface in external audits.
- Own the entire external audit lifecycle statutory, tax, and compliance ensuring zero‑deficiency outcomes.
2. Strategic Finance & Planning
- Build robust financial models to support fundraising, product pricing, and expansion decisions.
- Develop risk minimisation frameworks and scenario‑based opportunity forecasting for leadership.
- Translate complex financial data into board‑ready MIS reports with actionable insights.
3. Cash Flow & Treasury Management
- Maintain a real‑time view of cash flows; optimise working capital cycles to minimise financing costs.
- Manage banking relationships negotiate credit lines, overdraft facilities, and forex hedging instruments.
- Ensure liquidity buffers are maintained without sacrificing yield on idle capital.
4. Regulatory Compliance & Taxation
- Ensure end‑to‑end compliance with GST, TDS, advance tax, transfer pricing, and all SEBI/MCA requirements.
- Proactively track regulatory changes; brief leadership and implement process updates ahead of deadlines.
- Represent the company before tax authorities during assessments and litigation.
5. Payroll, Vendor, and Cost Management
- Oversee accurate, on‑time payroll processing with full compliance on PF, ESI, and labour taxes.
- Conduct structured cost‑reduction reviews; identify and execute savings of 10‑15 % annually on controllable costs.
- Establish vendor payment governance with controls on procurement‑to‑pay cycles.
6. Stakeholder & Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Act as a trusted finance advisor to Business, Operations, and Supply Chain heads.
- Support investor relations with accurate financial reporting, cap‑table management, and due diligence readiness.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Qualifications & Experience
- Fully qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI) non‑negotiable.
- 0–2 years post‑qualification experience, preferably in a startup or Big‑4 / mid‑tier CA firm.
- Demonstrable exposure to end‑to‑end finance operations in a high‑growth environment.
Technical Skills
- Strong command of Ind AS / IFRS, direct and indirect taxation, and company law.
- Proficiency in Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems (SAP/Zoho Books preferred).
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling capabilities.
