Job summary

Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) in Delhi invites applications for a Finance internship focused on bill payables, accounting, and data handling. The role requires a background in commerce and familiarity with MS Excel and Tally. Internship is initially for 3 months with a possible extension up to 6 months.

Ideal candidates will have strong communication, numerical and analytical abilities, and a proactive approach to supporting financial processes and records management.

Qualifications

• Educational background in B. Com, M. Com, MBA, CA inter or CS inter.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel and Tally.
• Prior experience in Accounting, Finance, or Compliance is a plus.
• Internship duration: initial 3 months, extendable up to 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Deal with bill payables and work on accounting tasks.
• Work on MOU/agreements and data handling.
• Collect, review, and interpret data in numerical and narrative formats.
• Assist with file preparation, maintain records and documentation.
• Maintain good written and verbal communication; support data entry and verification.

You will

• Deal with bill payables
• Work on accounting
• Work on MOU/agreements
• Use Excel and Tally for data handling
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis would be helpful.
• Ability to collect, review, and interpret data in both numerical and narrative formats is desirable.
• Should be comfortable assisting with file preparation and maintaining records and documentation.
• Good written and verbal communication skills are preferred.
• An interest in problem-solving, along with supporting data entry and verification tasks, would be an added advantage.
