Responsibilities

• Lead the overall Finance & Accounts function.

We are looking for an experienced and commercially oriented Head of Finance to lead the Finance & Accounts function of the organization. The person will be responsible for financial planning and analysis, accounting, taxation, cash-flow management, budgeting, MIS, internal controls, statutory compliance, and providing strategic financial insights to the management.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in finance leadership, excellent knowledge of accounting and taxation, and the ability to work closely with senior management on business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Management:

• - Lead the overall Finance & Accounts function.
• - Prepare and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
• - Manage cash flow, working capital, receivables, payables, and banking relationships.
• - Monitor profitability, costs, margins, and financial performance.
• - Provide regular financial reports and insights to the management.

2. Accounting & MIS:

• - Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of books of accounts.
• - Review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• - Develop and monitor financial MIS and management dashboards.
• - Analyze business performance and highlight key financial risks and opportunities.
• - Ensure timely closure of monthly and annual accounts.

3. Taxation & Statutory Compliance:

• - Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other applicable statutory requirements.
• - Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
• - Ensure timely filing of statutory returns and payments.
• - Manage statutory, internal, and tax audits.

4. Financial Planning & Analysis:

• - Prepare financial models and business forecasts.
• - Analyze actual performance against budget and identify variances.
• - Support management in pricing, cost optimization, investment, and expansion decisions.
• - Evaluate the financial impact of new business initiatives.

5. Internal Controls & Risk Management:

• - Establish and strengthen financial controls and accounting processes.
• - Identify financial and operational risks and recommend corrective actions.
• - Ensure proper authorization and documentation of financial transactions.
• - Monitor compliance with company policies and procedures.

6. Team Leadership:

• - Lead, mentor, and manage the Finance & Accounts team.
• - Define responsibilities, KPIs, and performance standards.
• - Improve efficiency through process automation and standardization.
• - Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Procurement, HR, and other departments.

Candidate Profile:

Education:

• - CA / CMA / MBA Finance preferred.
• - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

Experience:

• - Typically 6- 10+ years of relevant experience, including experience in a senior finance management role.
• - Experience managing Finance & Accounts teams.- Strong experience in accounting, taxation, budgeting, MIS, audit, and financial planning.
• - Experience in a manufacturing / FMCG / trading / services environment would be an advantage.
