Job summary

Corporate Solutions Redefined India in Chennai is seeking a senior finance leader to head the finance function, leading a team of about 20 including line managers across billing, receivable, payable, banking and payment processing.

The role encompasses planning, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, working capital management, MIS reporting, taxation (income tax, TDS, GST) and statutory compliance, plus commercial evaluation of contracts and vendor terms.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of about 20 including line managers across Billing & Receivable, Payable, Banking and Payment Processing and Virtual Card Payments.
• Oversee overall financial management including planning, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and working capital management.
• Provide periodic MIS reporting on Receivable, Payable, Commission Receivable, budgeting/cash flow variance, P&L and client earnings.
• Ensure taxation expertise across Direct/Income Tax, TDS and GST with statutory compliance and timely audits.
• Handle commercial evaluation of sales and vendor contracts, payment terms and client creditworthiness.
• Coordinate with Banks, Auditors, Consultants, Company Secretary and other stakeholders.
• Support top management with financial data to aid decision making.

Role & responsibilities

1. To Lead the Team of about 20 including the Line Managers with different functionality viz., Billing & Receivable, Payable, Banking and Payment Processing and Virtual Card Payments.

2. Overall financial management including planning, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and working capital management.

3. Periodical MIS Reporting on Receivable, Payable, Commission Receivable, variance analysis on Budgeting / Cash Flow Management, Profit and Loss Account, Client Wise Earnings etc.,

4. Strong Taxation Back Ground - Both Direct including Income Tax / TDS obligations and on GST, Ensuring Statutory Compliance and timely audit closure

5. Commercial evaluation of Sales and Vendor Contracts, payment terms, credit worthiness of Clients etc.,

6. Coordination with Banks, Auditors, Consultants, Company Secretary and other stake holders.

7. Support the Top Management for decision making by supplementing required information with financial data.

Preferred candidate profile

Candidate with professional qualification, Inter CA/CMA or MBA with 10 to 15 Years of Experience, preferrably from a Process & travel management company.
