Job summary

Acclime is seeking world-class accountants to join its CFO Services Team in Pune. You will act as a controller for assigned entities, overseeing daily accounting operations, cash flow, reconciliations, invoicing, payroll, and tax support.

A strong emphasis is placed on mentoring, learning, and meeting deadlines. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s/Master’s in Accounting or CA/CS/CWA, plus 1–3 years of experience in accounting and preferred exposure to Australian accounting and tax.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting or equivalent. CA/CS/CWA or MBA Finance preferred.
• Strong foundational accounting concepts and numerical aptitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations for assigned entities including cash flow, bank reconciliations, invoicing, month-end close, and general ledger.
• Oversee treasury, budgeting, accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and tax filing support.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and yearly accounting closures and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Coordinate with partners and executive team; address client mailbox queries.

Role & responsibilities

We are looking for world class accountants in our growing CFO Services Team. You will act as a controller for the entities assigned to you. This is Great opportunity to work in a core accounting function with ample of mentoring & learning.

Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including:

• - Cash flow and flash reporting
• - Daily Bank Reconciliations and updating daily funds position
• - Customer invoicing
• - Month and end-year process
• - General ledger
• - Treasury, budgeting
• - Accounts payable/receivable
• - Processing Payroll including verification of Timesheets
• - Assist in monthly, quarterly, half yearly and yearly accounting closures
• - Monthly reconciliations of Balance Sheet Accounts
• - Monthly reporting including P&L Commentaries
• - Assist in filing company Tax returns
• - Liaison with Firms Partners and other executive team
• - Addressing emails and queries in client Mailbox

Preferred candidate profile

• A Bachelors/Masters degree in Accounting, CA/CS/CWA, MBA Finance
• Conceptual understanding of accounting
