Job summary

Desai Residency is seeking a seasoned professional to handle project finance and corporate finance activities for real estate developments in Mumbai. You will prepare cash-flow statements, liaise with banks/NBFCs, and build CMA data and financial models to support funding decisions.

The role requires coordinating with internal teams to meet lender requirements and maintaining loan documentation and compliance. Experience in Real Estate project finance is preferred.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate should preferably be currently working or have previously worked with a Real Estate Developer/Builder in the Project Finance/Corporate Finance department.
• Candidates whose experience is limited to routine accounting, Tally, GST, or statutory compliance should not be the primary target.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor project-wise cash-flow statements based on construction schedules, sales collections and funding requirements.
• Coordinate with banks/NBFCs for project finance, loan processing and disbursements.
• Prepare CMA data, financial projections, project feasibility reports and financial models.
• Track project-wise fund inflows and outflows and ensure optimum utilization of funds.
• Monitor loan accounts, interest payments, principal repayments and other financing costs.
• Prepare monthly Project Finance MIS for management.
• Analyse project profitability, budgets, cost overruns and cash-flow gaps.
• Coordinate with internal teams for timely submission of lender requirements.
• Maintain and monitor loan documentation, security creation, conditions precedent and post-disbursement compliances.
• Assist in preparation of proposals for new project funding/refinancing.
• Coordinate with Accounts and Audit teams for project-wise financial information.
• Maintain strong working relationships with banks, NBFCs and financial institutions.
• Support senior management in evaluating funding requirements and financing options.
