Job summary

Traya, a health-tech brand solving hair loss through a science-backed holistic approach, is seeking an Accounts Executive to join our Finance team in Mumbai. You will support day-to-day accounting operations and ensure timely financial reporting.

You will manage entries, accounts payable, and assist monthly closes, while coordinating with auditors and cross-functional teams to improve processes and reporting accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce, accounting, finance or related field.
• 4 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance operations.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems and Excel for data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting entries and ensure accurate bookkeeping.
• Handle accounts payable activities including invoice verification and payments.
• Assist in monthly closing and preparation of finance schedules and reports.
• Support GST, TDS and other statutory compliance processes with data prep.

Role Overview

We are looking for an Accounts Executive to join our Finance team and support day-to-day accounting

operations, reconciliations, compliance, and financial reporting activities. The individual will work closely

with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting entries and ensure accurate bookkeeping
• Handle accounts payable activities including invoice verification, payment processing, and maintaining appropriate documentation
• Assist in monthly closing activities and preparation of finance schedules and reports
• Support GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance processes including data preparation and reconciliations
• Coordinate with auditors and assist in audit-related documentation and schedules
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and improve process efficiency
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and better reporting practices

Experience & Eligibility

• Bachelors degree in commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 4 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance operations
• Experience with accounting software/ERP systems preferred
• Working knowledge of Excel including data analysis, reconciliations, pivot tables and lookup formulas
• High attention to detail with strong accuracy and ownership mindset
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work within timelines
• Good communication and coordination abilities
• Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
