Personnel Search Services Group is seeking an experienced Finance Controller for a leading beer company in North India to oversee financial operations, ensure timely reporting, and manage statutory compliances.

The role reports to CEO, Director of Finance, and CFO, and leads a team of 4 Accountants, driving budgeting, audits, and regulatory adherence while delivering actionable financial insights to senior leadership.

Formación

• Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance from a reputed institution.
• Minimum of 6–8 years in finance, including 3–4 years in a leadership role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and analytical mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee end-to-end preparation and maintenance of the company’s financial books.
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure statutory compliance.
• Manage VAT, Excise, TDS, and GST compliances, ensuring timely filing and adherence to regulations.
• Monitor changes in tax regulations and ensure company-wide compliance.
• Lead and mentor a team of 4 Accountants, delegating responsibilities and ensuring accountability.
• Provide financial insights and analysis to support decision-making by senior leadership.
• Assist in budgeting processes and monitor performance against budgets with variance analysis.
• Collaborate with CEO, Director of Finance, and CFO to align financial strategies with company goals.
• Continuously evaluate and improve accounting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Implement best practices in financial control and risk management.

Position Overview

Seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Controller to oversee financial operations, ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, manage statutory compliances, and lead the accounting team. This role reports directly to the CEO, Director of Finance, and CFO, aligning financial management with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end preparation and maintenance of the company’s financial books.


• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.


• Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure statutory compliance.


• Manage VAT, Excise, TDS, and GST compliances, ensuring timely filing and adherence to regulations.


• Monitor changes in tax regulations and ensure company-wide compliance.


• Lead and mentor a team of 4 Accountants, delegating responsibilities and ensuring accountability.


• Provide financial insights and analysis to support decision-making by senior leadership.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance from a reputed institution.


• Experience: Minimum of 6-8 years in finance, including at least 3-4 years in a leadership role.


• Leadership: Experience leading a team of accountants and collaborating with executive leadership.


• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of VAT, Excise, TDS, and GST regulations; proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.


• Soft Skills: Strong leadership, excellent communication, detail-oriented, and analytical mindset.
