Job summary

Personnel Search Services Group in Delhi is seeking a seasoned Finance Controller to oversee financial operations, ensure accurate reporting, and lead the accounting team. The role reports to the CEO, Director of Finance, and CFO, aligning financial management with organizational objectives.

You will manage VAT, Excise, TDS, and GST compliance, drive budgeting and variance analysis, and mentor a team of 4 accountants.

Qualifications

• CA or MBA in Finance required.
• 6-8 years in finance with 3-4 years in a leadership role.
• Experience leading a team of accountants and collaborating with executive leadership.
• Strong knowledge of VAT, Excise, TDS, and GST regulations; proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end preparation and maintenance of the company’s financial books.
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure statutory compliance.
• Manage VAT, Excise, TDS, and GST compliances, ensuring timely filing and adherence to regulations.
• Monitor changes in tax regulations and ensure company-wide compliance.
• Lead and mentor a team of 4 Accountants, delegating responsibilities and ensuring accountability.
• Provide financial insights and analysis to support decision-making by senior leadership.
• Assist in budgeting processes and monitor performance against budgets with variance analysis.
• Collaborate closely with CEO, Director Finance, and CFO to align financial strategies with company goals.
• Continuously evaluate and improve accounting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Implement best practices in financial control and risk management.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance from a reputed institution.
• Experience: Minimum of 6-8 years in finance, including at least 3-4 years in a leadership role.
• Leadership: Experience leading a team of accountants and collaborating with executive leadership.
• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of VAT, Excise, TDS, and GST regulations; proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Soft Skills: Strong leadership, excellent communication, detail-oriented, and analytical mindset.
