Qualifications

• CA required with strong finance and accounting expertise.
• MBA in Finance preferred for business planning leadership.

• 8–12 years post-qualification in Finance/Controllership or related fields.

Lead – Finance Controller

Financial Planning & Budgeting Lead

• annual budgeting and periodic forecasting exercises for assigned projects/business units.
• Monitor budgets against actual expenditures and identify key variances.
• Support management in business planning and financial decision‑making.
• Develop project cash flow forecasts and monitor financial performance.

Financial Controllership

• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records, transactions, and reporting.
• Review month‑end and year‑end financial closing activities.
• Monitor adherence to internal financial controls and accounting policies.
• Implement best practices in financial governance and compliance.

Project Finance & Cost Control

• Track project costs, commitments, and budget utilization.
• Analyze project profitability and provide recommendations for cost optimization.
• Monitor contractor payments, procurement costs, and capital expenditure.
• Generate project‑wise financial dashboards and performance reports.

MIS & Business Reporting

• Prepare monthly MIS, variance analysis, and management presentations.
• Provide actionable insights on revenue, cost, profitability, and cash flow metrics.
• Support senior leadership with financial modelling and scenario analysis.
• Drive data accuracy and reporting automation initiatives.

Audit & Compliance

• Coordinate with internal, statutory, and tax auditors.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and statutory regulations.
• Support closure of audit observations and implementation of corrective actions.
• Maintain robust documentation and control processes.

Taxation & Regulatory Support

• Support GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliance activities.
• Coordinate with consultants and internal stakeholders on tax matters.
• Ensure timely filing and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Working Capital & Cash Flow Management

• Monitor receivables, payables, and working capital utilization.
• Review cash flow positions and support fund planning exercises.
• Ensure optimum utilisation of available financial resources.

Stakeholder Management

• Partner with Project Heads, Commercial Teams, Procurement, and Legal teams.
• Provide financial guidance and support to cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Assist leadership in strategic projects and business initiatives.

Requirements

• Mandatory Chartered Accountant (CA)
• Preferred MBA (Finance)
• CMA / ICWA
• Strong proficiency in SAP, ERP systems, Power BI, and Advanced Excel
• Experience 8–12 years of post‑qualification experience in Finance, Controllership, Project Finance, or Business Finance.
• Experience in Real Estate, Infrastructure, Construction, EPC, Manufacturing, or related industries preferred.
• Exposure to project accounting, budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
• Experience working with large corporate organizations and multiple stakeholders.
