Job summary

Egis Group in Bengaluru is seeking a Finance Controller to lead the General Accounts team and ensure accurate reconciliations and reporting across entities. You will drive month-end close, inter-company reconciliations, and P&L analytics in a fast-paced, multi-region environment.

The role requires CA or MBA-Finance with strong Excel skills, Oracle ERP experience, and a proven ability to manage deadlines and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Qualified CA or equivalent with strong accounting knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Manage the General Accountants team in Bangalore and oversee reconciliations.
• Liaise with Regional SSC contacts as a key point of contact.
• Perform reconciliations and resolve discrepancies across entities.
• Develop, Produce and review various business reports.
• Support month end closing and participate in process improvements.
• Review inter-company reconciliations and coordinate with GSSC for postings.
• Take ownership of balance sheet reconciliations.
• Contribute to P&L analytics, forecasting, and budgeting for senior leadership.

The Finance Controller will manage the General Accountants team in Bangalore and will be responsible for processing clear reconciliations and a group of reports on behalf of multiple entities around the group in multiple regions. This is an integral role and requires accurate execution, and a strong attention to detail and a good understanding of the figures.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Manage the team to address all performance issues
• Liaise with Regional SSC contacts as a key point of contact
• Perform reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Develop, Produce and review various business reports
• Support month end closing Participate in process improvement activities
• Review Inter-company reconciliations and work with GSSC to generate missing postings
• Take ownership of various balance sheet reconciliations
• Participating in P&L Analytics, Forecasting, Budgeting and providing the walk to Senior finance leadership

Essential:

• Qualified Accountant
• Management experience

• Must Have- CA Qualified [Chartered Accountant] or
• MBA-Finance & Accounts from Tier 1 Institutes
• Desirable: French language skills if possible
