Job summary

Egis Road Operation India in Bengaluru is seeking a Finance Controller to lead the General Accountants team and oversee reconciliations, reporting and month-end activities. This position is critical for accurate financial closures across entities and regions.

The role requires CA or MBA in Finance, strong Excel and data handling skills, and experience with Oracle ERP plus the ability to engage stakeholders and drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• CA qualified and/or MBA in Finance & Accounts from Tier 1 institutes.
• Experience in managing a finance team and month-end processes.
• Strong Excel and data handling skills.
• Experience with Oracle ERP and inter-company reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Manage the General Accountants team in Bangalore.
• Liaise with Regional SSC contacts as a key point of contact.
• Perform reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Develop, produce and review various business reports.
• Support month end closing.
• Participate in process improvement activities.
• Review Inter-company reconciliations and work with GSSC to generate missing postings.
• Take ownership of various balance sheet reconciliations.
• Participate in P&L analytics, forecasting, budgeting and provide updates to senior finance leadership.

About The Role

The Finance Controller will manage the General Accountants team in Bangalore and will be responsible for processing clear reconciliations and a group of reports on behalf of multiple entities around the group in multiple regions. This is an integral role and requires accurate execution, and a strong attention to detail and a good understanding of the figures.

Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Manage the team to address all performance issues
• Liaise with Regional SSC contacts as a key point of contact
• Perform reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Develop, Produce and review various business reports
• Support month end closing
• Participate in process improvement activities
• Review Inter-company reconciliations and work with GSSC to generate missing postings
• Take ownership of various balance sheet reconciliations
• Participating in P&L Analytics, Forecasting, Budgeting and providing the walk to Senior finance leadership
