Job summary

Michael Page seeks a CA with 5+ years in SAAS/Fintech to lead end-to-end accounting for the India entity. You will drive monthly closes, prepare reports, manage reconciliations, and ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• CA qualification with US GAAP knowledge required.
• Minimum 5 years of SAAS/fintech accounting experience.

• Experience with Big-4 auditors is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end accounting and finance operations for the India entity.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities.
• Prepare accurate financial reports and management information.
• Manage balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, and fixed assets.
• Drive accounts payable/receivable, treasury, and cash management.
• Strengthen controls, policies, and compliance frameworks.

Job Description

• Lead end-to-end accounting and finance operations for the India entity.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial reports and management information.
• Manage balance sheet reviews, reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and fixed assets.
• Drive accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking, and cash management processes.
• Strengthen financial controls, compliance frameworks, and accounting policies.
• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, payroll, and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with global finance teams to support reporting, audits, and strategic initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, systems, and operational efficiency.

The Successful Applicant

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
• Min 5 years of experience in SAAS/Fintech background.
• USGAAP experience is mandatory
• Knowledge of US taxation would be a Plus
• Prior work exposure of working with Big-4 auditors
• Proven experience in accounting, controllership, or finance leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
• Sound understanding of Indian taxation and statutory compliance requirements.
• Hands-on approach with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Experience working with accounting systems, ERP platforms, and advanced Excel.
• Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
