Job summary

Corenza, a SaaS and retail technology company, is seeking a CA with 4+ years experience to lead contollership and taxation in its Bengaluru-based team. The role focuses on building a strong financial backbone, owning monthly closes, and coordinating audits across entities.

You will work closely with auditors and leadership to ensure high-quality financial outputs, robust internal controls, and timely board reporting. Prior experience with Big 4 environments is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of IndAS and consolidation.
• Experience handling audits (statutory, internal, and tax).
• Proven ability to drive monthly closes with reconciled books.

Key Responsibilities:-

1. Controllership - building a strong financial backbone

• Own monthly financials and consolidation across entities (IndAS)
• Drive month-end closure with clear and well-reconciled books
• Accuracy in accounting
• Lead all audits - statutory, internal, and tax
• Work closely with auditors and CA firms to ensure high-quality outputs
• Support leadership and board reporting with timely and accurate data
• Strengthen internal controls and build robust processes
• Manage banking relationships and day-to-day coordination

2. Taxation - driving disciplined compliance

• Own tax compliance across all entities and geographies
• Coordinate tax filings - Direct and Indirect Taxes
• Work with consultants and review all submissions before filing
• Manage tax audits and related processes
• Track and manage tax matters with clear context and recommendations
• Ensure timely and well-coordinated compliance across entities

What Makes You a Great Fit:-

• CA with 4 years of experience
